Healthwatch Cheshire report on the views of 18-30 year olds on the COVID-19 vaccine
Healthwatch Cheshire have published a report on the opinions and experiences of the COVID-19 vaccination for people living in the Cheshire area aged between 18-30 years old.
Anecdotally, we were told that there could be some hesitation amongst some people in this age group to get vaccinated, and as they are the current cohort eligible for their vaccination, it is useful to explore their views on the vaccine. This enables us to feed back people’s views and perceptions to those organising the COVID-19 vaccination process, in order to influence the messaging used in encouraging people to take up their vaccine. All comments are being used to influence the planning of the vaccination programme going forward.
The survey had a quick turnaround of two weeks in order to provide timely information to those planning the vaccination programme. We received 130 responses between 22 June and 6 July 2021.
