Live Well Cheshire East – Cheshire East Council offer useful information and advice on a range of subjects, plus an easy to use directory of services, support and activities, through Live Well Cheshire East. Whether you’re looking for information and advice on health matters, community activities, care and support for adults, children’s services and the Local Offer for Special Educational Needs or Disability, Live Well Cheshire East can help you.
On July 1st 2022 NHS Cheshire and Merseyside replaced the clinical commissioning group infrastructure, with nine borough ‘Places’ tasked with working to improve health and care outcomes under the umbrella of the new organisation – a statutory Integrated Care Board.
There are also two main Hospital Trusts:
- Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – consisting of Leighton Hospital in Crewe, Victoria Infirmary in Northwich, and Elmhurst in Winsford.
- East Cheshire NHS Trust – consisting of Macclesfield District General Hospital, Congleton War Memorial Hospital, and Knutsford Community Hospital.
Mental Health, substance misuse, learning disability and community physical health services are provided by Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
