Cheshire East Partnership
The Cheshire East Partnership is a collection of organisations that work together to plan and deliver services for the residents of Cheshire East. This includes:
- Cheshire East Council
- Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
- Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group
- East Cheshire NHS Trust
- Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
- South Cheshire and Vale Royal GP Alliance
- Vernova Healthcare CIC
- Healthwatch Cheshire
We recognise that there is a need to work together to improve the health and wellbeing of our local communities. There are approximately 384,000 people living in the Cheshire East area, which is a place of agriculture and industry, countryside, villages, market towns and urban centres. These communities are diverse, and each have distinct needs, assets and challenges. In addition, there are existing health and social inequalities across Cheshire East which need to be addressed.
We foresee that our population is likely to increase over the next few years, with more working age families moving into the area and the fact that generally, people are living longer. Demand for our services will increase and our health and care providers need to be ready to respond to these opportunities and challenges.
In early 2020, we published our Five-Year Plan which explains how our partners will work together to improve the health and wellbeing of our communities.
