You and Your GP Practice – What to expect

The You and Your GP Practice (YYGP) Charter sets out what you can expect from your GP practice, what your practice expects from you, and what to do if things don’t go as expected. The Charter is now a contractual requirement for GP practices, and practices are encouraged to share it on their websites.

The ICB webpage also highlights how people can give feedback or raise concerns about GP services. It includes details of the Independent Complaints Advocacy Service (ICAS), which in Cheshire East and Cheshire West is delivered by Healthwatch. Alongside providing this advocacy support, Healthwatch is also listed as an organisation where people can share their experiences, raise issues or concerns, and be signposted to the right help.
