Healthwatch Cheshire East have published a report detailing people’s views on the Cheshire East Partnership Five-Year Plan.

Read Report

This report will feed into the final published Plan which will define a health and wellbeing strategy for Cheshire East, and be presented to the Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership.

Cheshire East Partnership has written a Five-Year Plan to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Cheshire East. It sets out what the partnership wants to do, why it wants to do it and the difference it believes it can make to the health and wellbeing of local residents.

The partners need to know what people think of the plan and produced a brief survey to help you have your say. This survey was hosted independently by Healthwatch Cheshire East, and we have now published this report discussing the findings.

The report tells us whether people felt the Plan identifies most of the important issues facing health and care services in Cheshire East, whether there is anything missing, and what people think could be done to improve health and wellbeing in Cheshire East.

What happens next?

The views discussed in the report will be reflected in a revised version of the Five-Year Plan, which will be considered by the Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership.

Any changes required will then be included in a further version for final approval in November 2019. Delivery of the plan would then start in April 2020.

The plan will provide the blueprint for the work of all organisations involved in planning, buying and providing health and care services – and the work of many other organisations with responsibility for wellbeing.
